AAA

Jeff Jarrett to Mexico

SuperLuchas reported this week that TNA founder and star, Jeff Jarrett, would be in Mexico from 09/26 to 09/28 working on behalf of TNA. No word on what exactly Jarrett is going to be doing, whether talking with AAA about talent coming to TNA or scouting other talent.

El Zorro to TNA?
ProWrestling.net reported this week that TNA is interested in bringing in AAA star, El Zorro, has part of the TNA-AAA talent exchange (which up to this point has been all TNA talent to AAA with no AAA talent coming to TNA as of yet). El Zorro is an excellent wrestler and would be bring something interesting to the X-Division but with such great high flyers like Aerostar, Laredo Kid, Super Fly, etc. that are rarely used in AAA right now, you have to wonder why some of those guys haven’t been brought in for the X-Division as of yet.

AAA/Wagnermania 09/12 Plaza de Toros de Torreon Results

3) Alex Koslov, Chris Stone, & Alan Stone def. El Elegido, Laredo Kid, & Pimpinela Escarlata
4) Hernandez & El Zorro def. Nicho el Millionario & Joe Lider via DQ
5) Cibernetico, El Mesias, & La Parka Jr. def. Perro Aguayo Jr., Halloween, & Damian666
* NOTES *
– All pics are courtesy of the great Black Terry Jr.
– In the 2nd match AAA defies any logic yet again as Relampago & Tiger had absolutely no problems (so they’re ignoring what happened at TripleMania).
– Extreme Tiger dives onto Cota:

– Joaquin Roldan made a coupld of matches for Heroes Inmortales. In one match the “AAA Army” will face La Militia in a Steel Cage (no specific names mentioned) and Ciberntico & La Parka Jr. will face “The Best of La Sociedad” (not sure who he means) in a Tag Match.
– Laredo Kid hits a hurricanrana:

– Laredo Kid flies!:

– Before the tag match Dorian Roldan said that if 187 used any weapons or were DQ’d then they were GONE from AAA.
– During the match Hernandez brought in a bat but Nicho took it from him and nailed Hernandez with it. 187 were then DQ’d and kicked out of AAA!:

– Hernandez tosses Lider out of the ring through a table with a Border Toss:

– Konnan (in a kind of over the top spot) poured Drano down Nicho’s throat:

– Cibernetico hits a Stunner on Perro:

– The AAA Army stands tall in the end:

AAA 09/19 TV Taping Lineup

6) Dr. Wagner Jr., Extreme Tiger, & Jack Evans vs. L.A. Park, Halloween, & Damian666
* NOTES *
– Since Nicho & Lider are “out” of AAA, I’m not sure what will happen with the Tag Match.

INDY & OTHER NEWS

LL-USA Returning to Texas in October

Lucha Libre USA announced this week that they would be running a show in Amarillo, Texas on October 24th.

Lucha Legend Murdered
This past weekend (Saturday) lucha legend, La Fiera (real name: Arturo Casco Hernandez) was murdered in Puebla when he was stabbed 5 times by an unknown assailant. One thing to note is that Fiera has a long history with drug abuse as well as a stint in prison for selling drugs. Fiera was best known for his time in CMLL and AAA in the 80’s and 90’s. He had many big feuds with names such as Lizmark Sr., Negro Casas, Emilio Charles Jr., Black Magic (Norman Smiley), Silver King, El Dandy, and many, many others. Fiera is a former NWA World Middleweight, NWA World Welterweight, and CMLL World Trios (w/Dos Caras Sr. & Hector Garza) Champion. Credit goes to Kris Zellner of LuchaWorld.com for the info and LuchaWiki for the pic.
