Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week and was asked about John Cena transitioning over to a movie career from WWE.
Johnson noted that while they are good friends today, the rivalry they had back in WWE from 2011-2013 was very real for them.
“It was so real. We had real problems with each other. We really did. Which by the way, led to – at that time they were still doing a PPV model – we broke WWE records.”
Johnson also provided a funny message to Cena during the appearance as Kimmel noted Cena would be joining the show the next night.

Cena joined the show to promote the release of “Blockers” this weekend.
