Long time reader. I attended the HOF ceremony and I wanted to tell you guys some things. Everyone except Steamboat and Austin had a time limit set for them.
There was a clock across from the speakers. The presenter had 3 minutes to speak and the inductee had 5 minutes to speak. It was the shortest HOF ceremony I’ve been to.
One more thing to add…security and WWE told fans prior to the event that if anyone cat called or chanted during the ceremony they would be ejected. For the most part the crowd was silent or dead up until Steamboat and Austin, where the crowd just lost it and it was impossible for WWE and security at that point to throw everyone out.
