First ever Last Woman Standing match announced for Evolution PPV on October 28

Following a championship rematch on Smackdown Live last night in Indianapolis, WWE has confirmed a new title match for the Evolution PPV on October 28.

Becky Lynch will defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair in a first ever Last Woman Standing match in three weeks.

A host of NXT talents are also scheduled for the all-women’s PPV, as reported on Tuesday.

WWE is touting that over 50 women from the past and present will take part in the PPV on October 28. The RAW Women’s Championship, Smackdown Women’s Championship, NXT Women’s Championship and NXT UK Women’s Championship will all be defended on the card. The finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament will also be taking place.
