PWInsider is reporting that WWE has now officially acquired the tape library for World Wrestling Council (WWC), the very well known Puerto Rican promotion owned by WWE Hall of Famer Carlos Colon and Victor Jovica.
According to the report, the deal was closed last month. WWC’s tape library has already been shipped to WWE Headquarters in Stamford to digitize all footage for future use on the WWE Network and potential DVD release.
