The Wrap is featuring an interview with WWE star Natalya talking about WrestleMania 35 next year and why she strongly feels women will main event the show.

Natalya, who described the women’s evolution as being “on fire” right now in WWE, feels that the time has come for that to finally take place.

“I think we are gonna headline WrestleMania (next) year. I feel strongly that we will do that. Women have never been involved as they are right now in the company, and we’re doing things every single day to show that women are at the forefront.”

Natalya also talked about the leadership roles women have behind the scenes in WWE and the many advances that women saw in the company in the last two years.

“We have women behind the scenes that are in charge, like Stephanie McMahon and Michelle Wilson and so many different women taking on leadership roles in the company.  We had our first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view. I’ve been a part of so many first-ever, incredible female moments in the company, like the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever Women’s Table Match…The logical next step? The main event (final match) of WrestleMania. That slot is considered the very pinnacle of her profession.”
