In an interview with USA Today, Lawler discusses the American Idol show and says that Ellen DeGeneres would “make a great WWE Diva”. When asked what kind of judge he would be if he was on American Idol, Lawler had this to say: “I would be somewhere between Simon and Howard Stern, I would think.”
