Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins to become the new WWE Intercontinental champion at TLC earlier tonight from San Jose.
This is Ambrose’s third reign as Intercontinental Champion in the company. Ambrose won his first ever Intercontinental championship, oddly enough, at the very same PPV – TLC, back in 2015 when he defeated Kevin Owens.
Here is an excerpt from the ending of the match between Ambrose and Rollins:
Ambrose extends his arm for a Shield fist bump. Rollins with a right hand and superkick. Rollins tackles Ambrose and tosses him into the barricade on the outside. Rollins powerbombs Ambrose into the barricade. Back inside, Ambrose catches Rollins with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose gets the pinfall. Courtesy of Adam Martin’s Live TLC results.
