Smackdown will be headlined by AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe vs. Randy Orton vs. Mustafa Ali with the winner getting a title bout against Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble.
Rusev was celebrating his United States Championship win but was attacked by Shinsuke Nakamura.
Sonya Deville defeated Naomi. They are running an angle where Mandy Rose is sending Jimmy Uso sexy photos to try and steal him from Naomi.
In a backstage segment, AJ Styles refuses to apologize for hitting Vince McMahon last week. Shane McMahon is there too.
John Cena came out for a promo but Becky Lynch came out and said she’s the man now and would be replacing him. Zelina and Andrade Almas came out and that set up a tag team bout.
Becky Lynch and John Cena defeated Zelina and Andrade when Vega tapped to the Disarmher. Lynch tossed Cena out of the ring.
Miz wants Shane McMahon to dress as him when they team.
Backstage, Carmella, Becky and Charlotte make their case for a title shot. Triple H will make a decision as to who will challenge Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s title “later on.”
AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Mustafa Ali, Samoa Joe to earn a title shot at the Rumble, pinning Orton.
