WWE star Akam (Sunny Dhinsa) recently underwent surgery on this knee this past week according to a new report by The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online.
The surgery is expected to keep Akam out of the ring for the next two months. This is why The Authors of Pain, former RAW Tag Team Champions, have been off TV for weeks.
AOP was replaced by The Revival on RAW live events this past weekend in matches against current RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.
The Revival made headlines last week after they requested to be released early from their current WWE deals, reportedly doing so in while their gear backstage last Monday. As reported earlier, WWE isn’t expected to be granting any releases at this time in what appears to be an effort to prevent All Elite Wrestling from signing talent.
