WWE announced the following:
WWE Halftime Heat is back! For the first time in 20 years — and streaming live for the first time ever across all WWE digital platforms — WWE Halftime Heat will take place during halftime of next Sunday’s Big Game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.
Halftime Heat will feature an NXT six man tag team match with Aleister Black, Ricochet and Velveteen Dream vs. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano.
Halftime Heat last aired in 1999 featuring Mick Foley (as Mankind) defeating The Rock to become the new WWE Champion during halftime of the Super Bowl.
WWE Halftime Heat will be available to watch on the WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
