During tonight’s Smackdown Live in Phoenix, R-Truth picked up a surprise win over Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new WWE United States Champion.
After the match, Rusev walked out and challenged the new champion. R-Truth defeated Rusev to retain his newly won United States title.
