WWE Halftime Heat announce team revealed for Sunday featuring WWE Hall of Famer

WWE Halftime Heat

Jeremy Borash revealed on his Twitter that current 205 Live play-by-play announcer Vic Joseph and Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will be the announce team for the Halftime Heat Special airing this Sunday during the Super Bowl halftime show.

We had previously reported that WWE recently announced the return of Halftime Heat during the Super Bowl halftime show for the first time in 20 years.

This Sunday’s Halftime Heat will feature an NXT six man tag team match with Aleister Black, Ricochet and Velveteen Dream vs. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and former NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano.

Halftime Heat last aired in back 1999 during the halftime show of the Super Bowl with an empty arena match that featured Mick Foley (as Mankind) defeating The Rock to become the new WWE Champion.

This Sunday’s WWE Halftime Heat Special will be available to watch on the WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
