Vince McMahon “suspends” Becky Lynch and removes her from WrestleMania

Becky Lynch has been “suspended for 60 days” by Vince McMahon. Per the storyline, this means she will be unable to take part in a match at WrestleMania 35.

During the segment to close RAW, Vince McMahon announced Becky’s replacement: Charlotte Flair. This means Flair will now challenge Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35 this April instead.

How did this happen

The start of RAW saw Triple H and Stephanie McMahon call out Becky Lynch. Lynch was “cleared” to wrestle and all they wanted was an apology because of her actions last week. If she apologizes, Lynch gets her shot against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35.

During the conclusion of RAW, Becky Lynch apologized. Triple H and Stephanie awarded her the match against Rousey. As they were leaving, Vince McMahon came out and suspended Becky Lynch for 60 days instead.

Vince told Becky that she thinks she’s bigger than the company. Triple H and Stephanie might have accepted her apology, but he doesn’t. She’s not the man, he is.
