WWE comments on the arrest of Jimmy Uso after incident with police in Detroit

WWE has commented on the arrest of Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu).

As reported earlier, Jimmy was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction after an incident with police just outside of downtown Detroit.

Per the report by TMZ, police pulled over a 2018 Dodge Journey driven by Jimmy’s wife and current WWE star Naomi (Trinity Fatu) that reeked of “booze.” According to police, Jimmy reportedly exited the car (despite commands from police), removed his shirt, jacket and “squared up” like he wanted to fight with the officers.

WWE issued this statement to Wrestleview, which is similar to a statement the company issued last January when Jey Uso (Joshua Fatu) was arrested for DWI.

“Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”

As of this evening, WWE is continuing to promote that The Usos will challenge Shane McMahon and The Miz for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships at Elimination Chamber this Sunday night on the WWE Network.
