Former WWE and Impact (previously TNA) star Matt Morgan became the new mayor of Longwood, Florida on Monday night.
Now retired, the 42 year old left the WWE in 2005 which was later followed by a stint in TNA where he went on to become a two time tag team champion. Speaking with News 13, here’s what Morgan had to say about being voted in:
“I am humbled and grateful to my fellow commissioners for believing in me. Thank you to Ben Paris for introducing me to politics to begin with, and encouraging me to go out in to the community and be me.”
