WWE SmackDown Ratings: Overnight ratings for Royal Rumble go-home show down

This week’s Royal Rumble go-home show edition, which took place in Dallas, Texas drew an average of 2.470 million viewers on Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down four percent from last week’s show that averaged 2.562 million viewers.  

The second hour saw a drop of nearly six percemt, which was the lowest number SmackDown has done in the last three weeks.

The actual ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.548 (down from 2.616 million viewers last week)

Hour 2: 2.391 (up from 2.544 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, headlined by a Strap Match contract signing between “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan, averaged a 0.70 rating among adults 18-49. 

The number is down up from last week’s 0.80 rating.
