WWE SmackDown Ratings: Overnight viewers up for Money in the Bank go-home show

WWE SmackDown Ratings: Overnight viewership May 8, 2020

The SmackDown Ratings are in for May 8, 2020.

This week’s edition, which again took place again in an empty WWE Performance Center, drew an average of 2.040 million viewers on Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by showbuzzdaily.com.  

This is up from last week’s show that saw a final rating of 1.885 million viewers. 

If the number becomes final, last night’s show would be up roughly eight percent from last Friday night’s episode on FOX.

The final ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a change to Friday’s preliminary ratings. 

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.087 (up from 1.941 million viewers last week)

Hour 2: 1.992 (up from 1.896 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, which was the go-home show for Money in the Bank averaged a 0.50 rating among adults 18-49.  This number is up from last week’s 0.20 rating.
