WWE reportedly begins early stages of planning for a return to holding live events

WWE plans on starting touring

According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE has begun the early stages of planning for a return to holding live events outside of the WWE Performance Center and Full Sail University.

WWE is looking to hold these events by August, though many of the sources mentioned in the report note that the timeframe is still very premature. WWE has not run a live event with fans in attendance outside of Orlando since the March 9 episode of WWE Raw from Washington, D.C.

WWE will have to confront a number of different issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including how to safely socially distance their fans, reducing the amount of people allowed in the building, and dealing with states in different stages of re-opening.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
