WWE announced that Hall of Famer Bob Uecker is set to return for his 50th season as the voice of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Uecker has been the Brewers’ play-by-play radio announcer since 1971.
He is most known for his iconic encounter with Andre the Giant during a backstage interview (view above) he conducted with Andre at WrestleMania III.
Uecker, 86, was inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.
The Major League Baseball opening season was delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As per a recent report from CBS Sports, the league is preparing to hold opening day on July 23 or 24 with a 60-game season set to conclude on September 27.
