Rey Mysterio at FCW Wrestling

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

** MEET WWE SUPERSTAR REY MYSTERIO in KISSIMME FL **

Kissimmee, Fl – August 19, 2010

Florida Championship Wrestling is proud to announce that WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio will be making a special guest appearance in Kissimmee, Florida to meet and greet fans on Sunday, September 5th. The appearance comes as part of a live event with FCW titled the “Labor Day Weekend Blast” at the Osceola Heritage Park Exhibition Hall.

Rey Mysterio’s career began in Mexico during the early 1990’s where he adopted the high flying wrestling style known as Lucha Libre. Fans were first exposed to Mysterio’s style on a national scale through the now defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW) where he was a former Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion. But it wasn’t until Mysterio joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002 where he would achieve his greatest success. The masked superstar has captured numerous Tag Team and Intercontinental Title honors culminating with two reigns as World Heavyweight Champion. He can be seen every Friday Night on “WWE Smackdown” which airs on MyNetwork TV. “Rey Mysterio is a sure bet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day. He’s been doing this for twenty years and he’s still on top of his game.” says FCW President Steve Keirn. “This is the first time he has ever appeared with Florida Championship Wrestling and it will truly be an honor to have him here.”

The action packed card will feature 8 matches featuring some of the stars of WWE’s NXT Season 2 and 3, along with select superstars from RAW and Smackdown. The always popular FCW Divas will also be in action.

Rey Mysterio will be available to sign autographs for fans prior to the FCW show in Kissimmee. The Osceola Heritage Park Exhibition Hall is located at 1875 Silver Spur Lane. VIP ticket holders will be admitted at 5:30pm, Reserved Seating and General Admission will be admitted at 7pm and Bell Time is 8pm.
