WWE has announced the following two matches and segment for tomorrow night’s Friday’s SmackDown on FOX.
Triple Threat Match No. 1 Contenders Match for Universal Championship: Big E vs. Matt Riddle vs. King Baron Corbin. The winner will go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the title at Clash of Champions on September 27.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will defend the titles against former champions Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
Brand new Universal Champion Roman Reigns will address the WWE Universe with Paul Heyman.
We will have live SmackDown results tomorrow night beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/7:00 Central.
WWE files for new trademark
According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE filed with the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office)to trademark “SHOW UP AND WIN” phrase on Saturday, August 29.
Below is a description for the following use of the new phase.
“Goods and Services – IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas”
