Former WWF/E enhancement talent Sylvano Sousa has reportedly passed away

Several media outlets have been reporting that former WWF/E enhancement talent Sylvano Sousa has reportedly passed away yesterday due to complications from COVID-19.

Sousa worked in the WWF/E in the 1970s and early 1980s.

He wrestled as a mid-card talent in Canada. He was also the promoter of Atlantic Wrestling Federation in New England that featured stars like Rick Martel, King Kong Bundy, and Matt Bloom.

In 1982, Sousa wrestled for Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling as a heel, and had matches  against Keith Hart.  He also wrestled for Vancouver’s All Star Wrestling as well as Mid-South Wrestling. Sousa also held the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion.

In 2003, Sousa was inducted into the New England Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.  You can watch the video of induction above
