WWE SmackDown Ratings: Christmas Day show draws over 3 million viewers

The SmackDown Ratings are in for December 25, 2020.

This week’s show, which was taped this past Tuesday, and aired on Christmas Day, drew an average of of 3.335 million viewers Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by showbuzzdaily.com.

The first hour of last night’s episode saw 4.097 million viewers.  Last week’s show, which aired on FS1, due to College Football, averaged 1.030 million viewers. 

This is the first WWE SmackDown episode on FOX to average more than three million viewers since SmackDown’s debut on FOX on October 4, 2019.  That episode averaged 3.869 million viewers.

Last night’s rating is now the second-biggest audience for WWE SmackDown on FOX.  The December 11 episode saw an average of 2.206 million viewers.  Last night’s show is also the single-largest viewership for a WWE show in this year.

The final ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.

This week’s SmackDown, which featured an Intercontinental Championship Lumberjack Match, averaged a 0.95 rating among adults 18-49.
