For those wondering, the segment on the “Old School” Raw involving The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Vladimir Koslov and Santino Marella didn’t go originally as planned. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that when Sheik started cutting a promo about Hulk Hogan while Slick was making his entrance, it wasn’t a mistake by the Sheik as Santino was supposed to introduce Slick after Sheik cut his promo. Obviously confused, Sheik started going into his promo as Slick made his entrance. We’re told Santino apologized to Sheik after the segment was over.
