Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that the reason why Bret Hart has not been on WWE television is because his contract with the company has expired. The feeling is that if the WWE has something “major” for Bret to do, they would sign him to a short-term contract. However, Bret has been used at live events and in markets where he has a big fan base, like in Europe.
