According to PWInsider, Lisette Pineda, who held the position of Manager of Global Talent Strategy and Development for WWE, was recently let-go by the company.
Pineda worked extremely close with Triple H (Paul Levesque) in a role described as his “top executive assistant.” Triple H has yet to return to WWE full-time since dealing with his heart issues and without him in the office, her role was limited at best, and it was said that it was just a matter of time before Pineda would be let-go from the company.
It was also said that Pineda’s departure has “sparked” discussion as to whether Triple H is ever coming back, as many who used to be in constant communication with him have not spoken with him in some time, and there is no indication he is anywhere close to stepping back into his former roles for WWE. Pineda joined WWE in January 2020, previously holding a position with Goldman-Sachs before coming to the company.
Shawn Michaels has been in charge of the NXT 2.0 brand in Triple H’s absence.
According to WWE’s most recent Security and Exchange Filing (SEC), Triple H’s talent contract with is set to expire on March 30. His talent contract will automatically renew unless either he or WWE give a 90 day notice.
