DeMott talks new book, role with WWE and more

Adra Ocal sent this in:

Arda Ocal (@Arda_Ocal) of Right After Wrestling Radio on SIRIUS 158 caught up with Tough Enough trainer and author Bill De Mott (@BillDeMott). Here are some highlights:

Speaking about his new autobiography, “The Last Laugh”, available through Crowbar Press.

His current role as a scout for the WWE and training at the FCW facility in Florida

Did he agree with Andy Leavine winning Tough Enough, and thoughts on his future

On seeing “Miss USA” Rima Fakih use padding on her rear while running the ropes during a drill on the Tough Enough reality show
“I was watching her and wondering why did she look so stupid!? I was looking at her ass – not to check her out – but because I noticed the bulge. And I couldn’t believe she had the gall to pull that. And Booker then said, if you’re not cheating you’re not trying! But I was about to blow a gasket!”

Speaking about the mentality of “never saying no” in wrestling, using R-Truth as a success story
“When you get presented certain characters, it’s up to you to run with it and light up a stage with it and R-Truth is a perfect example of that. He not only ran with this character, he put himself in the main event with this character. After all the years Ron (Killings) has been in this business, he put himself back on everybody’s radar now.”

“Skid Mark” – the nickname and how Ryan should have embraced the name
“I talking to ‘skid-marks’ after the show was over. I give so many people different nicknames. It’s just easy for me to remember them. And I gave him that name to remember him. I told him I gave him that name and he should’ve taken that name and gone around the country with it and made every independent shot with it.”

His thoughts on initially seeing Shane McMahon at the final WCW Monday Nitro in 2001 and if he thought that was the end of his wrestling career

His reaction when he was presented “Hugh G. Rection” as a gimmick

Being mostly remembered my fans as “the guy who was Goldberg’s first opponent in WCW”
