According to a new report by Fightful Select, backstage morale has “improved significantly” in WWE after the departure of Vince McMcMahon. It is being said members of the WWE’s locker room have said the backstage culture has changed for the better.
Fightful Select also notes that “almost everyone” they spoke with said going to work in the post-Vince McMahon era is more fun and easygoing. Those same people have also stated there is less of a feeling that you could get fired for things you can’t control. It was further said that numerous talents looked at the 2022 Royal Rumble as an all-time low for them in the company from a creative/booking standpoint, as some had lost faith in Vince as a leader.
There had reportedly been issues between Vince and Shane McMahon at this year’s Royal Rumble that led to Shane’s exit from WWE. Fightful Select concluded by saying things are no longer so hectic backstage and that there is still much optimism about Triple H’s booking, despite some hiccups.
