WWE Smackdown for September 9:
-Mark Henry came out to cut a promo and Zack Ryder interrupted him. Ryder said that Henry and Orton would wrestle tonight. Ryder also informed him that Teddy Long issued a “No Contact” policy for the two of them. Henry asks Ryder who will win at Night of Champions and Ryder avoided the question. Henry reminds Ryder that the “No Contact” doesn’t apply to him before giving him the World’s Strongest Slam.
-Mark Henry def. Ezekiel Jackson.
-Sin Cara def. Tyson Kidd. Josh Mathews interviewed Cara after the match. Daniel Bryan came out and challenged him to a match. Cara accepted and put Bryan in the LeBell Lock.
-Kelly Kelly def. Natalya.
-Christian said the show would not continue because Teddy Long refused to give him one more title match against Orton. Sheamus came out and made him leave the ring.
-Sheamus def. Wade Barrett via DQ when Christian attacked him. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Barrett and tried for Christian, but he escaped.
-Air Boom def. Jinder Mahal & The Great Khali. Triple H comically attacked Jinder Mahal after the match in a segment just for the live crowd.
-Randy Orton def. Cody Rhodes (non-title). Mark Henry and Orton squared off after despite the “No Contact” policy.
