Dwayne Johnson posted a video on his Instagram Saturday night, featuring Drew McIntyre, announcing that the “Scottish Warrior” has signed a new deal with WWE.
According to Fighful Select, McIntyre and WWE were able to negotiate a “multi-year, big money deal.”
PWInsider Elite notes McIntyre and WWE came to a new deal a few days ago and that both sides are very happy with the outcome. PWInsider indicates a source said that McIntyre’s new multi-year has him locked in for the next three years.
It was also said that McIntyre is not expected to be back on WWE television immediately, as he is current nursing a hyperextended elbow, which he worked through during the recent company’s tour of the United Kingdom tour last week.
PWInsider further notes in their report that McIntyre working the UK tour injured, earned him much respect with WWE.
