Second live report from Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh

Ken Smell sent this report in.

Raw Notes

Cena got the biggest pop of the night. He got his usual boos as well, but won the crowd over by the end of his promo.

When Kane was unmasked his pyro didn’t have quite the “bang” that it used to. The bang is definitely back, and his entrance looks awesome in person. When the red lights come on and he appears in the smoke it reminds me of the classic version of “The Fog.”

Post-Raw Dark Matches

CM Punk pinned Chris Jericho to retain the WWE Championship
There wasn’t much to this match, and Punk eventually won with the G.T.S.

John Cena, Randy Orton, and Sheamus defeated Kane, Lord Tensai, and Dolph Ziggler

The match ended when Orton hit Kane with an RKO, Sheamus hit Tensai with the Borgue Kick, then hit Ziggler with another Borgue Kick, which lead to Orton hitting Ziggler with an RKO, and Cena hitting Ziggler with an Attitude Adjustment for the pin.

Cena, Orton, and Sheamus all hung out for about 10 to 15 minutes to sign autographs and interact with the crowd.

I’ve been going to shows since 1991, and this is one of the better Raw shows that I’ve been to. The last couple that I attended in Pittsburgh didn’t really feel worth the money. This made up for it.
