The official trailer for Benny Safdie’s “The Smashing Machine” starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, has been released.
In the film Johnson plays MMA legend Mark Kerr, while Blunt in in the role on Kerr’s love interest.
The film was produced by A24 Entertainment, in collaboration with Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions. Filming took place between May 21, 2024 and August 1, 2024 in New Mexico, Tokyo, and Vancouver, BC.
The film which is still listed in post-production by the Internet Movie Database, will hit theaters on October 3, 2025.
