Brie Garcia (Bella) is playing matchmaker for sister Nikki, thinks men are ‘scared’ of her fame

During a recent interview with Us Weekly, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Garcia (Bella), told the publication that she is attempting to play matchmaker for her twin sister and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

Brie who recently co-hosted ABC and ESPN’s coverage of the 2025 X Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, was also on the lookout for who could be the next man in Nikki’s life.

“I had my goggles on this past weekend. I was like, ‘Who’s single?’ I kept texting her. I’m very happy in my marriage, but I do think I’d be the best wingwoman. I told her, ‘This time, you need to listen to me and trust your sister.’ I feel like I’d find the best guy.”

Brie also told Us Weekly, despite her confidence there are “great men” out there for Nikki, the twins were thinking and even questioning if men might be scared to date women who are in the public eye, “especially those who have with a podcast.”

Nikki has to pay her now ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev, $3,500 per month for care of the couple’s son, Matteo. In addition, she also paid him a lump sum (already of $100,000 and a second payment of the same amount is due to Chigvintsev before the end of 2025.

The agreement came around two weeks before the divorce trial was scheduled to begin.

Divorce filings came following Artem’s domestic violence arrest in August 2024. After an investigation, prosecutors did not to file criminal charges against him. The two agreed to dismiss restraining orders both had filed against each other. The agreement was made official around two weeks before the divorce trial was scheduled to begin.

Nikki and Artem held their wedding in Paris back in August 2022.

Nikki returned to WWE back on the June 6 episode of Raw to promote Evolution. During her in-ring promo, she was confronted by Liv Morgan, who was offended and upset that Nikki did not mention her when naming off the top women in the company. The segment ended with Morgan attacking Nikki and then dropping her with an ObLIVion.

However, storyline plans between Nikki and Morgan were scrapped after Morgan dislocated her shoulder, just after the start of her match against Kairi Sane back on the June 16 episode of Raw. Morgan recently underwent surgery and is expected to be out of action for several months. Morgan was one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez. During this past Monday’s Raw, GM Adam Pearce and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis decided that Roxanne Perez will team with Rodriguez to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, along with two more teams yet to be announced at Evolution in Atlanta on July 13.
