The absence of Asuka following her match against IYO SKY at WWE Backlash has led to speculation on her status, something the former WWE Women’s Champion recently addressed on social media.
Responding to a fan asking if she was just taking a break, Askua replied:
I haven’t left [WWE.] I haven’t quit.
Asuka’s last appearance for the company was at the Raw following Backlash, in which she gave what appeared to be an emotional farewell, later stating she was taking a break due to a personal matter.
