PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE star Batista has signed on for Marvel Studios adaptation of the comic book, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, which is slated to be released on August 1, 2014. Batista will play the role of “Drax”, who is a former human transformed into a being of extreme power after the death of his family by God Thanos.
