Dwayne Johnson misses “Fast Six” tour due to injury

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was unable to take part in a scheduled promotional tour of Europe this past week to promote the release of “Fast Six.” According to a report by Dave Meltzer, doctors would not allow Johnson to travel overseas after his recent surgery to repair a hernia and torn muscles.

Speaking of “Fast Six”, the sixth installment of the franchise was already released overseas grossing $4.4 million according to Deadline.com. It was the second biggest opening overseas since the release of “Iron Man 3” that pulled in $4.7 million. The film opens later this week in the U.S. on 5/24.
