NXT Tag Team Titles: The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara & Kalisto) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) (c’s)
Lucha Dragons come out to new music. We see video on how the Lucha Dragons won the #1 Contenders tournament for this title shot tonight. Dueling chants of “Lucha” and “Yah!” for both teams. Cara & Viktor start. Viktor backs Cara into the corner, hits a gut kick and a chop. Uppercut by Viktor, but Cara with a springboard headbutt. Clothesline by Cara, followed by a springboard crossbody. Viktor misses a clothesline, Cara with a springboard moonsault press for a nearfall. Cara with a dropkick, but Viktor knocks him off the apron after Cara takes a shot at Konnor on the apron. Konnor tags in, drives Cara back-first multiple times into the apron. Back in, Konnor gets a 1 count. Cara sent into the corner, then Konnor stomps away at him while the crowd does the “Yah!” chant. Viktor in, gets a 1 count. Viktor pulls at Cara’s mask, then hits a leaping fist drop for a nearfall. Seated double chickenwing applied by Viktor, crowd wills on Cara. Cara tries to get to his feet, but Viktor takes him back down and puts more pressure on the hold. Cara gets to his feet, but Viktor drives him back down. Viktor trash talks Kalisto, saying he’s next. Viktor powerbombs Cara on the ropes, but Cara comes back with a rana. Konnor in, knocks Kalisto off the apron. Cara can’t make a tag, then Konnor with an avalanche to the back of Cara in the corner for a nearfall. Cara with kicks from underneath knocks down Konnor. Cara then with an enziguri to Konnor, both men down. Konnor holds onto Cara to prevent him from making a tag, then pulls at his mask. Kalisto & Viktor tag in. Kalisto with a springboard crossbody to Viktor, followed by a corkscrew press. Kalisto with a Code Red variation to Viktor, Konnor breaks up the pin. Cara sends Konnor to the outside, then wipes him out with a tope suicida! Kalisto with a rana that sends Viktor to the outside. Kalisto goes for a slingshot plancha, but the Ascension catch him! Ascension throw Kalisto overhead, but he lands on his feet, then Cara wipes out the Ascension with a tope suicida! “Lucha” chants by the crowd. Back in, Viktor avoids Kalisto off the top and hits a STO! Ascension go for the Fall of Man, but Cara grabs Konnor’s foot. Viktor knocks Cara off the apron, but Kalisto comes in from behind.
SOLIDA DEL SOL!! 1-2-3! NEW CHAMPIONS!!
Winners and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions; The Lucha Dragons by pinfall (Solida Del Sol)
The new champs celebrate their title win afterward as the crowd again does the “Lucha” chant.
Video package on NXT Champion Adrian Neville, we see him preparing backstage.
“The Eco-Warrior” CJ Parker vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin throws down Parker early, then hits a big right hand.
Swinging Reverse STO gets Corbin the win.
Winner: Baron Corbin by pinfall (Swinging Reverse STO)
Corbin quickly leaves the ring afterwards as Parker doesn’t know what hit him.
We see a video package on Tyson Kidd, then see him prepare with his wife, Natalya, backstage.
Hair vs. Hair Match: Sylvester LeFort w/Marcus Louis vs. Enzo Amore w/”Big Cass” Colin Cassady
We see video from last week when the Jersey Boys debuted “the Cream” they will use on LeFort if they win. Enzo introduces himself & Big Cass as always before the match. Enzo says that a couple of things will happen to LeFort. I will punch you in the mouth and you will get a haircut. But what kinda haircut? A comb-over? A buzz-cut? A weave? A bob & a weave? Or a papadore? No, no, no, see I’m a G and I keep it 100 fortunately, but unfortunately, your options are limited to ZERO OPTIONS because your head is going into that bucket tonight! Cass says that after that, there will only be one word to describe both of you and I will spell it out for ya! S…A…W…F…T….SAWFT!!!
Crowd chants for Enzo as the bell sounds. LeFort with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle for a 1 count early. LeFort taunts Enzo. Enzo with a side headlock, then maintains control when LeFort tries to Irish whip him. LeFort grabs Enzo’s hair, but Enzo with a drop toe hold and a roll-up for a nearfall. LeFort converses with Louis, then hits a gut kick and a series of back clubs. Forearm by LeFort, but misses two more, Enzo slides under his legs and hits a dropkick. LeFort goes to the apron and Enzo grabs his hair, then hiptosses him back in. LeFort rolls back out to the apron, then hot-shots Enzo across the top rope. LeFort stomps away at Enzo in the corner. LeFort with a slam for a 1 count. Chinlock applied, crowd wills on Enzo. Enzo fights back, but LeFort with a knee to the ribs. Enzo sidesteps a backdrop with a kneelift. LeFort charges in and hits a running knee to the ribs of Enzo in the corner, followed by a kick to the back. LeFort taunts the crowd as the crowd chants for Enzo. LeFort with a big forearm that knocks down Enzo. LeFort talks trash to Enzo, but Enzo fights back with a right hand and a series of gut shots. Enzo peppers LeFort with jabs, then Louis distracts Enzo, allowing LeFort to hit a big clothesline for a nearfall. Louis gets back on the apron, but Cass pulls him off and knocks Louis.
LeFort misses a clothesline, Enzo with an O’Connor Roll for the win.
Winner: Enzo Amore by pinfall (O’Connor Roll)
The Jersey Boys celebrate Enzo’s win, while LeFort can’t believe that he has to get his head shaved. “To the chair” chants by the crowd. LeFort tries to escape, but Cass knocks him down on the outside. “Get the bucket” chants by the crowd. Jersey Boys take LeFort up the ramp, but Louis nails Cass from behind. LeFort runs away, then the Jersey Boys knock down Louis and attack him. Enzo sends Louis into a big boot by Cass. Cass yells for Enzo to get the bucket. Cass holds Louis as Enzo DUMPS THE BUCKET ALL OVER LOUIS!! Louis runs to the back as the Jersey Boys stand tall on the rampway.
We see a video package on Tyler Breeze, then see him prepare backstage as he shoos away two ladies, who show him gear to wear tonight.
Ring announcer JoJo introduces NXT GM William Regal, who makes his way to the ring. Crowd chants for Regal. Regal says that NXT has become the place to be, now let’s take a look at the biggest international signing in the history of the WWE. We see a video package highlighting the signing of KENTA. Regal then introduces KENTA, who makes his way to the ring. Regal congrats KENTA and welcomes him to NXT. Crowd chants for KENTA. KENTA thanks Regal and says hello to NXT. KENTA speaks in Japanese, then says that this is a dream come true. I’m happy to be here in WWE and on NXT because I’m starting over by announcing as a tribute of one of my heroes, I will be known as Hideo Itami. My goal is to be NXT Champion. The Ascension’s music hits and they make their way to the ring. Viktor with a gut kick to Itami and sends him to the outside. Konnor starts to tell Regal that he will give them a rematch, but Itami gets back in and removes his suit jacket. Itami with a big boot to Viktor, then hits the KENTA series to Konnor. Chest kick by Itami sends Viktor to the outside. The Ascension try to head back in, but Itami with a dropkick that knocks them off the apron. Itami grabs a chair and sits down in the ring, daring the Ascension to get back in. The Ascension back up the ramp as Itami stands tall in the ring.
We see video on the rivalry between Bull Dempsey & Mojo Rawley.
“The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey vs. “The Hype-Man” Mojo Rawley
Mojo rushes the ring, but Bull unloads with back clubs and gut shots in the corner as the bell sounds. Bull runs into a back elbow by Mojo, then Mojo takes down Bull and unloads with right hands from the mount. Mojo with a series of shoulders to the ribs of Bull in the corner. Mojo goes to charge in, but Bull charges out of the corner and hits a running body block.
Bull heads up top, diving headbutt for the win.
Winner: “The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey by pinfall (Top Rope Diving Headbutt)
Afterwards, Bull heads back up top and hits another diving headbutt. Bull leaves a fallen Mojo in the ring.
Backstage, the Jersey Boys find the Legionaires and go after them. Cass grabs Louis, who has a towel over his head and brings him into the arena. In the ring. Cass with an inverted atomic drop, then Enzo removes the towel, showing Louis’s shaven head with a bunch of patches and shaven eyebrows! Louis runs away as Enzo says he has a new word to describe Louis. B….A….L…D……BALD!!! Jersey Boys celebrate in the ring.
We see video on the rivalry between Bayley & Charlotte.
NXT Women’s Title: “Its” Bayley vs. “The Dirtiest Diva in the Game” Charlotte (c)
Bayley comes out to new music and tassle entrance gear. “Bayley’s gonna hug you” chants by the crowd before the bell. Charlotte extends her hand as the bell sounds, saying this is what Bayley wants, but Bayley drives Charlotte into the corner with shoulders to the ribs. Bayley sends Charlotte off the turnbuckles multiple times, but Charlotte with a gut kick and a series of chops. Bayley with a crossbody for a nearfall. Bayley with a chop to Charlotte’s back, a basement back elbow to the back of Charlotte and an elbow drop for a nearfall. Charlotte runs into a back elbow, but blocks a backslide and neckbreakers Bayley down. Charlotte with a series of kneedrops to Bayley for a nearfall. Charlotte chokes Bayley in the ropes with her knee, then lets out a “Wooo.” Charlotte locks in the Figure Four Headlock, then spins over and hits the Scissor Stomp. Charlotte keeps the hold maintained, but Bayley bridges backward and gains a nearfall. Charlotte continues to keep the hold maintained as the crowd wills on Bayley. Bayley again bridges backward for a nearfall. Charlotte with a soccer kick, then stands on Bayley’s face in the ropes. Charlotte stomps away at Bayley in the corner, but Bayley fights back. Charlotte comes back with a slap, then chokes Bayley with her shin. Another kneedrop by Charlotte, followed by a series of chops that knocks down Bayley. Charlotte locks back in the Figure Four Headlock, then flips Bayley over multiple times around the ring. Crowd again wills on Bayley. Charlotte grabs Bayley’s legs and gains a nearfall, but Bayley reverses and gets a nearfall. Charlotte bridges out of a Sunset flip, then goes for a Figure Four, but Bayley counters with an inside cradle for a nearfall. Charlotte comes back with a dropkick. Charlotte again stands on Bayley’s face in the ropes. Bayley slips out of a slam, O’Connor Roll for a nearfall. Charlotte comes back with a Kitchen Sink for a nearfall. Crowd chants for Bayley. Charlotte trash talks Bayley, then piefaces her. Bayley fights back, but Charlotte with a big forearm. Charlotte has a big smile on her face, but then Bayley unloads with forearms in the corner. Running shoulder to the ribs by Bayley, but Charlotte avoids another charge, drapes Bayley across the ropes and hits a draping neckbreaker for a nearfall. Charlotte heads up top for a moonsault, but Bayley stops her. Bayley with more forearms in the corner, then heads up top with Charlotte. Bayley with a Super Rana to Charlotte off the top! Both women down, crowd chants “this is awesome.” Bayley crawls over, but only gets a nearfall. Bayley goes for Belly-to-Bayley, but Charlotte blocks it and rolls up Bayley for a nearfall. Schoolgirl Driver by Charlotte into the corner! Charlotte heads up top, A MOONSAULT WITH FLAIR, but Bayley kicks out! Charlotte can’t believe it and Bayley gets in her face!
Charlotte takes down Bayley and hits the Natural Selection to retain the title.
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s Champion: “The Dirtiest Diva in the Game” Charlotte by pinfall (The Natural Selection)
Charlotte celebrates her win afterward. Then, Sasha Banks comes out, walks past Charlotte and gets in the ring. Sasha talks trash to Bayley, then piefaces her and attacks her. Charlotte sees this on the Titantron and gets back in the ring, pulling Sasha off Bayley. Sasha leaves, then Charlotte does as well, holding up the NXT Women’s Title.
We see a video package on Sami Zayn.
Main Event in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Title: “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze vs. Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd vs. “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville (c)
Feeling out process early. Kidd goes after Neville, Breeze after Zayn. Zayn & Breeze go outside, as does Kidd & Neville. Neville sends Kidd off the apron. Neville & Zayn get back in and stare each other down. The two have words, but then Kidd & Breeze go back after them and they head outside again. Zayn chops Breeze with his phone, then takes his own selfie with it. Zayn with a double sledge off the apron to Breeze, then sends him off the barricade. Kidd goes around the ring and nails Zayn from behind. Kidd gets Zayn back in, but Zayn with the Flatliner into the Koji Clutch! Breeze breaks up the submission. Neville pulls Breeze out to the outside and the two brawl on the rampway, but then Kidd chopblocks Neville from behind. Kidd with a shot to Zayn, then he & Breeze DOUBLE SUPLEX NEVILLE ON THE ENTRANCEWAY!! Zayn goes after Kidd, but Breeze nails him from behind. Zayn blocks a suplex, but then Breeze & Kidd DOUBLE SUPLEX ZAYN ON THE RAMPWAY!! Back in, Kidd & Breeze work over Zayn. Kidd sends Zayn into Neville, knocking Neville off the apron. Kidd taunts the crowd as Breeze stands on Zayn’s face. Breeze kicks Neville off the apron, but Zayn fights back. Double back elbow by Kidd & Breeze, but Kidd pulls Breeze off the pin. Kidd then with a spin kick to Breeze, sending him to the outside. Neckbreaker by Kidd to Zayn for a nearfall. Kidd dropkicks Neville back off the apron and to the outside. Kidd with an elbow drop to Zayn for a 1 count. Chinlock applied by Kidd on Zayn. Crowd wills on Zayn. Zayn counters out with a jawbreaker. Kidd fires back with a clothesline. Neville gets back in, but Kidd sends him right back out to the outside. Kidd with a snapmare and a Victim Kick to Zayn for a nearfall. Kidd chokes Zayn in the ropes with his knee. Kidd drapes Zayn across the middle rope, then heads up top and hits a legdrop for a nearfall. Kidd places Zayn in the Tree of Woe, knocks Neville off the apron and DRILLS him with a running apron kick, then back in, hits a hestitation dropkick to Zayn while in the Tree of Woe for a nearfall. “OLE” chant by the crowd to will on Zayn. Zayn fights back, but Kidd with a series of knees to the head in the corner. Snapmare by Kidd back into the chinlock. Crowd wills on Zayn. Zayn gets to his feet, but Kidd takes him back down. Neville comes in and breaks it up, but again, Kidd sends him out to the outside. Kidd runs into a back elbow by Zayn, then 2 flying forearms by Neville. Neville with a back body drop to Kidd, Breeze with a flying forearm to Neville, then Zayn with 2 clotheslines and a flapjack into a dropkick on Breeze, sending them all to the outside. Zayn looks to dive, but Neville with a Top Rope Asai Moonsault, wiping out Breeze & Kidd! Neville gets back in as he & Zayn stare each other down. Zayn removes his elbow pads, but misses a right hands and Neville with 2 spinning back kicks and a running dropkick. Neville with a handspring, but Zayn shoos him off and gains a nearfall. Kidd sends Zayn to the outside, then heads up top with Neville. Neville blocks a superplex and headbutts Kidd off the ropes. Zayn charges in, but Kidd alley-oops him into Neville, knocking Neville off the ropes and to the outside. Spinning Fisherman by Kidd to Zayn for a nearfall. Kidd takes down Zayn and goes for the Sharpshooter, but Zayn kicks him off and onto the apron. Kidd comes back with an enziguri, then goes for the springboard elbow drop, but Zayn gets the knees up! Zayn charges in for the OLE Kick, but Breeze comes and DRILLS Zayn with the Beauty Shot! Kidd comes in, but Breeze hits him with the Supermodel Kick! Neville springboards in, but Breeze catches him in mid-air with the Supermodel Kick! 1-2…NEVILLE KICKS OUT!! BREEZE CAN’T BELIEVE IT! Breeze places Neville up top and goes up with him. Both men head to the top for a superplex, but then Kidd goes up with them. Kidd & Breeze tease a double superplex, but Zayn comes in under them! TOWER OF DOOM!! 1-2…KIDD KICKS OUT!! ZAYN CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! Zayn with a series of right hands and stomps to Kidd in the corner and fires up Stone Cold-style. Zayn charges at Neville, but Neville DRILLS him with a kick! Neville heads up top, then kicks Kidd off. SHOOTING STAR TO ZAYN!! Breeze throws Neville outside and covers Zayn! 1-2……ZAYN KICKS OUT AGAIN!! BREEZE AGAIN CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! “NXT” chants by the crowd. Breeze measures Zayn, but Zayn avoids the Beauty Shot! Kidd locks Breeze in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring! Breeze tries to reach the ropes, but Kidd pulls him back to the center! Breeze is about to tap, but Neville grabs his arm to stop him! Zayn breaks up the submission. “Thank you Neville” chants by the crowd. Neville with a spinning back kick to Zayn, but Zayn backdrops him to the outside! Kidd charges in, but Zayn catches him with an Exploder into the turnbuckles! Zayn charges in and wipes out Neville with a tope suicida, sending Neville into the crowd! Zayn charges and dives through the ropes, hitting Breeze with a tornado DDT! Zayn gets back in, OLE KICK TO KIDD!! 1-2…..NEVILLE PULLS OUT THE REF TO STOP THE PIN!! Zayn questions Neville and goes out after him, but Neville drills him with a superkick!
Neville heads back in, RED ARROW TO KIDD!! 1-2-3 as Zayn gets back in too late to break up the pin.
Winner and STILL NXT Champion: “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville by pinfall (Red Arrow)
Neville celebrates his title retention afterward as Zayn is left disappointed in the ring to close the show.
