We see the usual intro, then go to the opening match.

Takeover Return Match: “The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey vs. “The Hype-Man” Mojo Rawley

The two begin brawling on the outside as the bell sounds. Back in, Mojo drives Bull into the corner and hits a series of knees, followed by a right hand. Bull goes to the outside, but Mojo brings him back in. Bull runs into a back elbow, then misses a clothesline, but catches Mojo with a running body block.

Bull heads up top, diving headbutt for the win.

Winner: “The New York Nightmare” Bull Dempsey by pinfall (Top Rope Diving Headbutt)

Bull yells to Mojo that he has pretty left to give afterwards. Bull leaves, then the music of Tyler Breeze hits as he makes his way to the ring for our next match. Mojo brushes past Breeze on his way to the back, but then Breeze grabs Mojo and sends him into the ringpost. Breeze trash talks the fallen Mojo on the outside as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, we see a vignette on Baron Corbin. Corbin says that there is two types of people in this world, people like me and people like you. Understand, I’m a whole different breed. Now, its up to my kind to destroy your kind. You can’t fight fate.

“Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze vs. Justin Gabriel

Dueling chants for Breeze as the bell sounds. Breeze with a series of gut kicks, then stomps away at Gabriel in the corner. Breeze then with a series of right hands in the corner. Breeze has words with the ref, but Gabriel comes back with a dropkick to the knees. Basement Flatliner by Gabriel for a 1 count. Gabriel unloads with right hands & stomps to Breeze. Snapmare and a series of Victim Kicks by Gabriel. Forearm by Gabriel, followed by a kick to the ribs of Breeze. Gabriel motions for Breeze to get up, but Breeze avoids a corner charge. Gabriel, however, hits a back kick from the middle rope for a nearfall. Gabriel heads up top, then cartwheels off to avoid Breeze. STO, followed by a springboard moonsault by Gabriel for a nearfall. Gabriel with a side slam, then heads up top for the 450, but Breeze moves out of the way.

Supermodel Kick, followed by the Beauty Shot by Breeze for the win.

Winner: “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze by pinfall (The Beauty Shot)

Backstage, Natalya walks up to NXT GM William Regal. Natalya says that she wanted to come to ask Regal for a favor and I don’t want Tyson knowing that I’m even coming to you about this, but I was wondering if there was any way, any chance that you could grant him another chance, another opportunity at the NXT Title. Regal says Kidd has been beat by Neville twice for the NXT Title. Natalya says the last title shot was a Fatal 4-Way, but Regal says that Kidd was the one who got pinned. Natalya says that Kidd deserves another chance and that he can prove himself with one more opportunity. Regal says that he will give Kidd another chance, but its his last chance. If Kidd can’t beat Neville for the NXT Title, Kidd can never have another NXT Title shot as long as Neville is the champion. Regal walks off.

Alexa Bliss vs. “Its” Bayley

Crowd chants for Bayley as the bell sounds. Bayley with an armdrag early. Bliss slips out of a waistlock, but Bayley drives her into the corner to get free. Bayley drives Bliss into the corner mu;tiple times, then gets a nearfall. Bliss goes up & over, Sunset Flip for a nearfall. Oklahoma Roll by Bliss for a nearfall. Bayley misses a clothesline and Bliss with a spinning headscissors. Bliss does a kertsie and the two high-five each other. Bayley takes down Bliss and hits an elbow drop to the arm. Armbar applied, then Bayley with another elbow drop to the arm. Crowd wills on Bliss. Bayley avoids Bliss going up & over and hits an armdrag back into the armbar. La Magistral by Bayley for a nearfall. Bliss tries to roll out of an armbar, but Bayley holds on and gets a nearfall. Bliss with a flying forearm and a dropkick.

Bayley avoids a Standing Moonsault Knee Drop by Bliss, Belly-to-Bayley for the win.

Winner: “Its” Bayley by pinfall (Belly-to-Bayley)

Afterwards, Bayley grabs a mic and calls out Charlotte. Charlotte’s music hits and she makes her way to the ring. Bayley says that ever since NXT Takeover, I’ve not been able to sleep. I let myself down, I let everyone here in the NXT Universe down, my mother was here and she watched me lose. I am asking you, Charlotte, to give me another chance to beat you, I want a rematch. Crowd chants “one more time.” Charlotte says that Bayley didn’t let her down at Takeover, she finally earned my respect, but the second verse will be the same as the first. I’d be honored to face you again, see ya next week, kid.

We see video from earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center with the Jersey Boys & Carmella. Enzo asks Carmella why would she tell people that she was Enzo’s sister. Carmella says she was trying to get into the building. Enzo says he can appreciate that, but it could make things awkward for us in the future. Enzo tries to put his arm around Carmella, but Carmella has none of that, shooing Enzo off. Carmella asks where the ring is because she wants to train and knock these chicks out. Enzo says that Carmella is not getting into the ring because first, she has to get in shape. Enzo says that Carmella isn’t built like a pear, but she was a hairdresser. You’re hairdresser hot, but not exactly diva hot. Carmella walks off as Enzo starts up the treadmill. Cass says that Enzo needs to stop talking to women like that. Enzo says he knows everything there is to know about women. Cass asks then why has Enzo never had a girlfriend? Enzo says its because he refuses to commit himself to failure. You treat them like dirt and they stick like butter. Enzo begins running on the treadmill, while we see Carmella walks back in, wearing her training outfit. Carmella asks Enzo if this is hot enough for you, Enzo says its alright, but Cass thinks otherwise. Carmella starts to stretch, then when Enzo turns to look, he falls off the treadmill. Cass says that Enzo just embarassed himself, smooth move. Enzo again says to Cass to not post this video and Cass says he won’t.

Grudge Match: Marcus Louis w/Sylvester LeFort vs. Enzo Amore w/”Big Cass” Colin Cassady

Louis is sporting a wig and headgear to hide his shaved head from Takeover. Before the match, Enzo introduces himself & Cass as always. Enzo says to Louis, sweet headgear, bro! Well, frumpy dumpy, it looks like at Takeover, you encountered a problem. 1+1= 3.14, you ate the pie! And it looks like the pie you ate had an allergic reaction, cuz ya lost all your hair. But, what kind of pie was it? Cass asks if it was an apple? Dutch apple? Pumpkin? Cherry? Pecan? Either way, all your hair fell out of your dumb head and you ain’t fooling me with that new do and there’s only one word to describe you and your dumb head and I’m gonna spell it out for ya. S…A…W…F…T…..SAWFT!!

Louis misses 3 clotheslines as the bell sounds, but comes back with a back elbow. Louis unloads with right hands from the mount. Enzo sent into the corner. Knee to the ribs by Louis, followed by a back club. Louis with a slam, then locks Enzo in a neck vise, crowd wills on Enzo. Louis with another knee to the ribs, then sends Enzo to the outside. LeFort goes to go after Enzo, but Cass chases him off. LeFort taunts Enzo as he gets back in. Enzo hot-shots Louis across the top rope and in the process, removes the wig and headgear off of Louis.

Louis goes to pick the wig & headgear back up, but Enzo rolls him up from behind for the win.

Winner: Enzo Amore by pinfall (Roll-Up)

The Jersey Boys celebrate their win afterwards while Louis is upset about losing his wig.

Backstage, Tyson Kidd says that as usual, my wife’s heart is in the right place, it really is, but I’m Tyson Kidd, my actions speak louder than any words. I don’t need anybody, especially my wife, requesting title shots on my behalf. If I want a title shot, I’ll simply ask. Adrian Neville, he still has that NXT Title and I’m gonna take that way from him. I’m gonna take that NXT Title and all the power it possesses. You see, this is my last chance at that NXT Title, which actually puts all the power in my court. Adrian Neville has lost 2 matches this year and you’re looking at the guy who beat him both times. I am the next NXT Champion, FACT!

Main Event in a Takeover Return Match for the NXT Tag Team Titles: The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara & Kalisto) (c’s) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor)

Cara & Konnor start. Konnor with a gut kick and a series of right hands. Konnor gets a 1 count. Konnor runs into a back elbow by Cara. Cara goes to the middle rope and hits a lucha armdrag to Konnor, followed by a dropkick. Kalisto in, assisted wheelbarrow back senton by the Lucha Dragons. Konnor knocks down Kalisto with a right hand. Viktor in, double shoulder tackle by the Ascension for a nearfall. Viktor pulls at Kalisto’s mask. Viktor with a chop, then sends Kalisto into the corner. Viktor with a gut shot, but Kalisto evades Viktor with a cartwheel, then hits him with a dropkick. Viktor runs into boots by Kalisto, then Kalisto goes to the middle rope and hits an inverted headscissors. Cara blind tags in, then Kalisto with a backflip headscissors, followed by Cara hitting a sliding clothesline for a nearfall. Viktor sent into the corner. Kalisto in as Cara with a slam. Kalisto leaps onto Cara, who powerbombs him down across Viktor for a nearfall. Viktor comes back with a knee to the ribs. Konnor in, side headlock takeover to Kalisto. Konnor then hits the rolling side headlock takeovers for a nearfall. Chinlock applied by Konnor, “Lucha” chants by the crowd to will on Kalisto. Viktor in as Konnor lifts up Kalisto in a full nelson and Viktor with a gut shot for a nearfall. Chinlock applied by Viktor as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Kalisto fights out of a chinlock by Viktor. Viktor stops Kalisto from making a tag and hits a slam for a nearfall. Konnor in, gets a 1 count on Kalisto. Konnor with a throwing slam to Kalisto for a nearfall. Chinlock re-applied by Konnor. Crowd wills on Kalisto. Kalisto fights back, but Konnor lifts him up. Viktor in, double sledge/Dominator combo by the Ascension for a nearfall. Leaping fist drop by Viktor for a nearfall. Chinlock re-applied by Viktor, crowd again wills on Kalisto. Kalisto counters out with a jawbreaker, but Viktor sends him back into the Ascension corner. Konnor in, double throwing slam by the Ascension for a nearfall. Konnor gets another nearfall and is starting to get frustrated. Body scissors applied by Konnor, along with a series of crossface shots. Viktor in, stomps away at Kalisto and blocks his path to make a tag. Uppercut by Viktor for a nearfall. Viktor runs into a boot by Kalisto, then Kalisto slips out of a slam and tags in Cara.

Springboard headbutt by Cara, followed by a clothesline and a springboard crossbody. Viktor misses a clothesline and Cara with a springboard moonsault press for a nearfall. Kalisto in as Cara with a chop to Viktor. Kalisto runs into a back elbow by Viktor, then Viktor sends Cara to the outside. The music of Hideo Itami hits as he makes his way onto the rampway and stares down the Ascension.

When Viktor turns around, Kalisto hits him with Solida Del Sol for the win.

Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: The Lucha Dragons by pinfall (Solida Del Sol)

Afterwards, Konnor is upset about what happened and goes after Itami on the rampway. The Lucha Dragons celebrate their title retention as Konnor charges at Itami on the rampway. Itami with rapid-fire slaps, a series of leg kicks and finally a head kick that lays out Konnor on the rampway. Itami stands tall on the rampway as the show closes.
