Arrest warrant issued for Heath Slater, WWE statement

An arrest warrant has been issued for WWE star Heath Slater (Heath Miller) stemming from an incident during WrestleMania weekend in Atlanta back in 2011.

A security guard (Corrine Oliver) was working the post-WrestleMania party and filed a police report claiming that Slater asked her to come to his room and when she declined, he “put her in a choke hold and dragged her to get to the elevator going to his floor.”

Oliver claims she had to struggle to get away and suffered neck injuries as a result. Oliver filed the report with police a few months after it alledgely took place and it wasn’t until this week that police issued an arrest warrant for the curent WWE star.

This story first became public back in August of 2011 and at the time, Slater denied anything ever happened and stated he was with his fiancee the entire weekend when he wasn’t making any appearances on behalf of the WWE.

WWE issued the following statement about the incident.

“WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action.”
