The NXT debut of the former Kana, now known as Asuka is NEXT!!

We see video highlighting NXT’s recent swing of live events in Texas.

Back to the ring where NXT GM William Regal is there. Regal says he’s proud to the introduce the newest signing to NXT. This person is the hottest free agent in the world and possibly, the greatest competitor signed to NXT. Ladies and gentlemen, KANA!!

Kana comes out with her horror mask and new music, then the Titantron changes to new her name of Asuka. Asuka makes her way to the ring.

Regal says that as we’ve seen, we will now refer to you as Asuka. Before you sign your contract, is there anything you’d like to say to the NXT Universe?

Asuka screams out in glee, then says she is happy to be here in NXT. “NXT” chants by the crowd. Asuka says this is a dream come true. I wanna be the NXT Women’s Champion.

Asuka signs her NXT contract as the crowd chants for her. Regal signs it as well, then goes to say more, but the music of Dana Brooke cuts him off as she & Emma make their way to the ring.

Regal says to them that this is incredibly rude of them. Emma grabs the mic as the crowd chants “Asuka’s gonna kill you” at them.

Emma says hi to Asuka, whatever your name is. I’m Emma and this is Dana, Da-na, and we are NXT’s welcoming committee, so welcome, welcome! Its so nice to have you here. We came out here tonight to let you know that if you plan to survive in this women’s locker room, you need to understand that we are in charge here.

Dana says that we were the ones to run Charlotte and Becky Lynch right out of NXT, so if you don’t play nice with us, things for you will be over before your career has even started. You need to get out of OUR ring, because playtime’s over. So, be gone, bye, bye, go, like come on, this is our ring.

Emma asks if Asuka is not listening, you can leave now.

Dana says that its great to have Asuka, but you gotta go.

Asuka goes to leave, but stops on the apron. Emma points for her to leave as the crowd does the “NO” chant. Asuka leaves slowly up the ramp as Regal looks on in disgust and Team DisIngenious continues to motion for her to leave. Crowd chants for Asuka as she stops on the ramp and gives Team DisIngenious an evil smile as she slowly walks to the back.

Apollo Crews walks in and mentions that he is facing Breeze at TakeOver: Respect. Crews says he hopes Breeze is excited as he is, I’ll see you next week. Breeze tries to leave, but Crews cuts him off. Crews then says he is messing with Breeze, then allows him to walk off.

We go to Kyle Edwards in the NXT Event Center with the latest updates in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Last week on NXT TV, Round 2 kicked off as Rhyno & Baron Corbin advanced over indy stand-outs Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa. In an upset at the Austin, Texas live event, The Mechanics beat NXT Tag Team Champions The Vaudevillains. The semi-finals and finals of the tournament take place at TakeOver: Respect on October 7. The Mechanics face the winners of next week’s Round 2 match between NXT Champion Finn Balor & Samoa Joe and The Jersey Boys. We will soon find out who faces Rhyno & Corbin in the semis as The Hype Bros. face Shoot Nation in Round 2. We go to comments from both teams.

Zack Ryder says they are facing the guys with no game. Mojo Rawley says that means they are facing guys who get no chicks. Ryder says that they have no chance of beating us this weekend and after that, we’re gonna party. Mojo says there will be chicks everywhere because we are staying hype and we’re gonna move on and we’re gonna win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and if you two don’t like it, brother, y’all can…….Ryder says buy the shirt.

We go to comments from Shoot Nation. Jason Jordan says they have been pretty impressive. Chad Gable says what also has been impressive is the videos the Hype Bros. have been making to plug their new shirts, ridculous shirts by the way, but the impressive thing that they only spelled one word wrong in the entire video. Jordan sarcastically claps for them, then says he is actually impressed by the fact that they have made it this far in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Gable says that the road ends here, then says he hates saying the Hype Bros. name. Jordan says that you are looking at the future winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Gable says and you wanna know why, then he brandishes his towel and goes the “Ready, Willing and Gable” catchphrase that Jordan continues to refuse to say.

This match will take place this weekend during NXT’s live event tour of Florida.

Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: The Vaudevillains by pinfall (The Whirly Divirish)

Vaudevillains celebrate their title retention afterwards.

We close with promos by The Jersey Boys & Finn Balor and Samoa Joe about their Round 2 match next week.

Enzo Amore says that no man has done more for our careers than Dusty Rhodes and its an honor and a privelige to be competing in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. As for our opponents next week, we’ve bent elbows with them a few times and there is nothing “foogazie” about that title around your waist, Finn Balor and there ain’t nothing “SAWFT” about you, Samoa Joe, but as for Big Cass, there ain’t nothing “SAWFT” about that size 16 boot, neither and the “Michael Jordan of Jaragon”, my jaw is so hard, I can blow a bubble with an hour later. Winners focus on winning, losers focus on wins and real recoginzes real.

Cass says that we have all the respect in the world for Joe and Balor, but next week, respect goes out the window, along with your chances of winning this tournament, because you two are going home and me & Enzo are moving on to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, how you doin’?

We go to Balor & Joe. Balor says that next week, we face Enzo & Cass. Now, you guys are my friends, but friendship gets pushed aside. This is the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and Dusty Rhodes was my mentor.

Joe says that friends or not, me & Finn are here for a singular purpose and that’s winning it all. Ain’t that right, champ? Joe slaps the belt, which surprises Balor. Joe says that we know you two are the realest guys in the room, but you’re staring at the two toughest dogs on the block and trust me gentlemen, you can’t teach that.

Show closes.
