WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was treated for a “cut on his hand” at the Logan International Airport in Boston on Wednesday morning following the Smackdown tapings on Tuesday night in Manchester. According to a report by TMZ Sports, police and medical staff responded to a call about a man with a “cut on his hand.”

Witnesses at the airport stated that Flair went to Lucky’s Lounge before his flight and was described as “acting like a drunk person.” One witness described Flair as being loud and obnoxious, while another stated that he appeared to having “a tough time” and was “shambling about” inside the lounge among customers.

A photo made the rounds on Twitter of Flair speaking with police and medical staff earlier this morning prompting a series of accusations that Flair may have been intoxicated. According to airport police Sgt. Donlon, Flair was not intoxicated and was allowed to board his flight after it speaking with airport staff this morning.

Flair’s agent Melinda Morris Zanoni issued the following statement.

“Ric has been working every day around the clock, including internationally, for a month straight and has injuries on his hand that were being looked into this morning. While it is true Ric Flair and his buddies have been keeping airport bars in business since the 70s that was not the case at all in Boston. I just hung up with Ric, he is already on the flight and all is good.”
