Chicago Cubs/John Cena connection

On The Leadoff Man Pre-Game show before the Cubs-Brewers game today, Alfonso Soriano was interviewed. In the middle portion of the interview, he was asked about doing the John Cena “You Can’t See Me” hand wave. He said that he liked giving the fans in left a symbol for a year, and that he enjoyed the gesture because it was what Cena did. Seemed to be some subtle advertisement for the new WGN Superstars show, while also CM Punk will be throwing out the first pitch and singing the 7th inning stretch on May 15 at the Cubs-Astros game.

Not sure if this has been reported but Alfonso Soriano for the Chicago Cubs does the Cena “you can’t see me” motion after he hit’s a homer. Today when he did it Len Casper the Cubs announcer when Soriano did the motion said that’s for pro wrestler John Cena.
