“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

We go live into the arena, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s music hits! WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin makes his way to the ring to a massive pop. This is his first time on RAW in four years according to the commentators. Austin soaks in the cheers and says it’s good to be back in Dallas. Back in 1989, he started his career in the Sportatorium. When they built the American Airlines Arena, they shipped him and The Rock in to break it in. Austin says, “If y’all here in Dallas are ready for Monday Night RAW, give me a ‘Hell yeah!’” The crowd responds in the affirmative. Austin then asks if they’re ready for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, and the crowd responds that they are. Austin says he’s proud and glad to be back in Dallas. He’s stomped so many mudholes in this town and walked them dry, sometimes he has to drink a cold beer and reminisce about it all. Coming up in a few hours on the WWE Network, he’s got Brock Lesnar on the Stone Cold Podcast. That’s the bottom line because he said so.

Austin wants to introduce a man he has a lot of respect for. He’s one of a kind. Coming up this Sunday in a Hell in a Cell match, he’ll step in the ring to face Brock Lesnar for the last time. Austin introduces The Undertaker! The Undertaker’s music hits, and the Demon from Death Valley makes his way to the ring to another massive pop. Undertaker slowly makes his way to the ring and gets in. The crowd chants his name. Austin already cut out of there, so it’s just Undertaker in the ring. Undertaker says, “Brock Lesnar, we have one last battle to fight, and listen when I say this, son: the depths of hell will look like the gates to heaven compared to where I’m going to take you this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.”

Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and he storms out to the stage with Paul Heyman in tow. Undertaker just stares at him. Heyman won’t let Lesnar go down to the ring. Heyman says, “Ladies and Deadman, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the Beast that shall be unleashed this Sunday inside Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar.” Heyman says he was just talking with his client about how fitting it is that both combatants will enter Hell in a Cell this Sunday consumed with the thought of revenge. His client wants to avenge that disputed, disgusting, tainted, illegitimate victory Undertaker scored over him at SummerSlam. Undertaker doesn’t want, need, or crave revenge. Undertaker lusts after the notion of avenging the fact that his client, Brock Lesnar, conquered his undefeated streak at WrestleMania. The crowd loudly boos that. This Sunday at Hell in a Cell, when the two of them fight for the very last time, his client will take his revenge upon him and then Undertaker will be forced to learn what it’s like to live or die with a tainted legacy. It’ll be a legacy of dominance over everyone else except the conqueror that took everything away from him, Brock Lesnar.

Undertaker says, “You see, that’s where your problem is because when you take everything from a man… when you take everything from a man, then that man ends up fighting with nothing to lose.” Undertaker removes his hat and jacket and motions for Lesnar to come into the ring. Lesnar starts to slowly walk down to the ring. Heyman begs Lesnar to stay back. Lesnar gets to the apron and jumps up to it. Heyman screams that this is not the right time. Lesnar then smiles and gets off the apron as the crowd boos him. Lesnar and Heyman back up the ramp. Undertaker stares at Lesnar before motioning that he’ll finish him. Undertaker’s music plays as the segment ends.

The Dudley Boyz and John Cena will face The New Day, next.

John Cena and The Dudley Boyz vs. The New Day

Replays are shown from two weeks ago when The New Day left John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, and The Dudley Boyz down in the ring.

Before the match begins, Xavier Woods starts off by trying to calm down a “New Day sucks” chant. Woods’ trombone is broken. Woods says they should be called unicorns because they have brought magic back to WWE. Kofi Kingston asks if they know the saying. Big E says everything is “booty” in Texas. Big E says Dez Bryant’s foot is booty, as is Tony Romo’s clavicle. They laugh heartily. As for the three of them, they probably remember this brass because they used it to kick their – Woods stops him, but they say “ass” anyway. They’ll beat them again tonight because New Day rocks.

Bubba Ray Dudley will start against Kofi Kingston. Kingston applies a waistlock, but Bubba quickly pulls him off. The Dudley Boyz and John Cena celebrate in the ring.

The commentators talk about John Cena’s mystery opponent at Hell in a Cell for the WWE United States Championship. They then switch to talking about how Randy Orton was supposed to be on the tour to Mexico, but he never made it. Now Orton is not there. Orton was supposed to team with Dean Ambrose to face Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at Hell in a Cell. Ambrose is seen talking backstage with Finlay, Dean Malenko, and a referee. He’ll address the situation, next.

-Commercial Break-

Renee Young is backstage with Dean Ambrose. She mentions that Randy Orton will not be on RAW tonight and the rumor is the Wyatt’s may have something to do with that. She asks if he knows anything about Orton. Ambrose says people have been talking about the rumors of the Wyatt’s injuring Orton, but they’re not rumors. They’ve gotten to Orton before, and they did it again. Ambrose says he’s sick of this crap and won’t wait until Sunday. It may be career suicide, but he’s got a fight to pick with Luke Harper and Braun Strowman. No one will get in his way tonight!

A replay is shown from last Monday when the Demon Kane took on Seth Rollins in a Lumberjack Match. Due to Corporate Kane’s actions last week, he has been suspended for tonight’s RAW.

Triple H is seen talking with Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels will appear before the crowd, next.

-Commercial Break-

Shawn Michaels’ music hits, and the Heartbreak Kid makes his way to the ring to a huge reception. An “HBK” chant breaks out. Michaels says as if making that run isn’t hard enough, he has pizza stuck in his throat. Hell in a Cell is clearly upon them. Michaels says he’s appeared in a cage and also been in a cell, but that was when he was younger. Both pale in comparison to being inside Hell in a Cell. Now some of the people may not know this, but many years ago he was in the first ever Hell in a Cell. Due to the fact that he’s been hit in the head a lot, he can’t remember who it was against. Oh yeah, it was The Undertaker. Amazingly eighteen years later, Undertaker will step back inside Hell in a Cell against Brock Lesnar, which he believes will be for the last time ever. As if that’s not enough, there will be another Hell in a Cell that night. After weeks of ridicule, Roman Reigns will have the opportunity to get his redemption inside Hell in a Cell. This Sunday, those two matches will tear the house down.

Seth Rollins’ music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Rollins gets in the ring and goes face-to-face with Michaels. Rollins smirks at him as the crowd buzzes for this moment. Rollins asks what Michaels is doing out here. Michaels knows what he was supposed to do when he came out here. Michaels was supposed to introduce the man, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Michaels was supposed to start the second hour of RAW by introducing him. Michaels says for twenty plus years, he has been given instructions back there, but as soon as he gets out here, it’s gone. Michaels wanted to have fun with the crowd. To be perfectly honest, they were having a great time before Rollins ruined the fun. Rollins says the orders didn’t come from him; they came from his best friend, Triple H. If Michaels doesn’t want to do what Triple H says, that’s fine. Michaels talking about Lesnar, Undertaker, Wyatt, and Reigns is silly. Michaels needs to talk about the man that will stop the show this Sunday. He should talk about the champion that’s taken on all comers and destroyed them all. This man is Shawn Michaels version two, but he’s better than the original. If Michaels wants to talk about Hell in a Cell, that’s fine, but he needs to talk about Seth Rollins.

Michaels says if he had a nickel for every guy that’s the next him, he’d be a billionaire. The thing that never seems to escape him is they aspire to be the next Shawn Michaels. Rollins is happy being version two. The difference between them is that it never occurred to him in his career to be the second coming of anybody. Michaels says he too busy becoming the greatest wrestler that ever lived. Michaels then mentions the seven-foot demon that’s about to get him. Rollins says he’s been a fan of Michaels his whole life, but Michaels is a little jealous. Rollins had a moment at WrestleMania that eclipses every moment in Michaels’ career. Rollins isn’t worried about Kane because he’ll be like everyone else that’s tried to take the title from him – down on the mat. Rollins says he’s done with Michaels before telling the technicians to hit his music. The music doesn’t come on. Michaels says the downside to being the second coming of something, they don’t just hit your music. Michaels then informs Rollins that he’ll face Ryback, next. Michaels then has them hit his music, and he dances off.

-Commercial Break-

The bell rings, and Ryback immediately powers Rollins into the corner. Ryback tries it again, but Rollins counters into a roll-up attempt. Rollins does it again before kicking him. Rollins hits the ropes, but Ryback chops him down. Ryback then sends him to the corner and turns him inside out before chopping him down again. Ryback then hits a delayed vertical suplex. Rollins rolls out of the ring to recover. Ryback follows him and slams him off the apron. Ryback lifts him up, but Rollins gets out and shoves him into the apron before sending him into the steps ribs first. Rollins looks for a count-out. Ryback gets to his feet, so Rollins takes him out with a suicide dive that sends Ryback into the commentary table. Rollins rolls him into the ring and kicks him in the ribs. Rollins applies a body scissor, but Ryback fights up. Rollins kicks him away and leaps over him before running into a back body drop. Ryback scoops him up and hits a nasty looking powerslam. The crowd is completely dead for this match. Ryback goes for Shell Shocked, but Rollins gets out and hits an enzuigiri. Rollins hits the ropes, and Ryback takes him down with a spinebuster. Ryback goes for a Meat Hook, but Rollins rolls to the apron. Rollins rakes the eyes and hits a Pedigree for the win. That’s the first RAW match Rollins has won in quite some time.
