Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt w/ Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
The referee sends Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to the back early. Bray Wyatt tells Harper and Rowan that he doesn’t need their help. Bryan is tossed out of the ring by Wyatt and lands with a thud. Wyatt with a big right hand to Bryan on the outside. Back in the ring, Bryan gets in a few kicks to the body. Bryan locks the legs of Wyatt, pulls his arms back and stomps him against the mat. Bryan with kicks to the body of Wyatt in the corner. Wyatt tries to suplex Bryan to the outside. Bryan lands on the ring apron and throws a few elbows. Wyatt then pulls Bryan down by his arm pulling him down hard across the ring apron. Back in the ring, Bryan and Wyatt exchange shots. Bryan starts getting the better of Wyatt when Wyatt tosses him out. Wyatt drives the skull of Bryan off the steel ring post. Michael Cole talks about the concussion that Bryan recently suffered. Back in the ring, Wyatt kicks Bryan repeatedly in the head and tries to keep the action grounded. Wyatt catches Bryan with a knee to the head and a modified chokeslam. Wyatt does his creepy backwards walk in the corner and then charges in on Bryan. Bryan fires back with a big charge and starts lighting up Wyatt with tons of kicks in the corner. Wyatt cuts off a comeback by Bryan with a big clothesline. Wyatt charges in again and Bryan pulls down the top rope to send him over. On the outside, Bryan with a big running dropkick to the face of Wyatt. Bryan tosses Wyatt back in and connects with a missile dropkick off the top turnbuckle. Bryan flips up and starts kicking Wyatt in the chest repeatedly as the fans chant “YES” with each kick landing. Bryan lands two dropkicks in the corner on Wyatt. Wyatt then runs forward and levels Bryan with a huge clothesline. Bryan counters Sister Abigail with a close rollup. Bryan gets the YES Lock applied, but Wyatt starts biting him to break it up. Bryan connects with a headbutt/splash combo on Wyatt from the top turnbuckle. Wyatt bails. Bryan kicks him through the ropes and goes for a suicide dive. Wyatt catches Bryan as he is executing the suicide dive and then connects with Sister Abigail on the floor. Wyatt tosses Bryan back in the ring as the crowd in Pittsburgh starts a loud “THIS IS AWESOME” chant. Wyatt hits a second Sister Abigail and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
Backstage, Renee Young is with Paul Heyman. Heyman says his client Brock Lesnar will be challenging the winner of Randy Orton vs. John Cena tonight and he promises that Lesnar will take the Big Show down. “Don’t you understand what is going on here Renee? This is the dawning of a new era,” added Heyman.
Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers is shown in the crowd.
