Super Popular Update
Originally the “new” CMLL wrestler Super Popular was believed to be the son of Olimpico but now Olimpico himself has confirmed that he was he himself under a new mask in a confusing situation. Olimpico lost his “Olimpico” mask way back in 2003 to La Sombra.

Ultimo Dragon Graphic Novel Update
The kickstarter program going on for the proposed Ultimo Dragon graphic novel is FAR away from it’s goal of $35,000 raising a little over $4,000 so far (on pace to reach just over $10,000 at the current rate which is less than half of the hope of $35,000).

Super Crazy & Pesadilla Remaining In Japan

NTV G-Up Jr. Heavyweight Tag Tournament
Super Crazy, Ricky Marvin, & Pesadilla finished up their long tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH this past weekend. Pesadilla and Dual Force had to pull out of the Tag Team Tournament last week due to Dual Force’s injury, but Pesadilla stuck around and wrestled in a slew of non-tournament matches. Los Mexitosos (Marvin & Crazy) made it to the Semifinals of the tournament but fell to Taiji Ishimori & Atsushi Kotogoe (who then lost to Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask in the Finals). Pesadilla got a couple of non-tournament wins but wasn’t able to win the XNL Title from Ricky Marvin when he got a shot at it.

* NOTES *
– This one seemed to be really awkwardly booked.
– After the 4-Way Jon Davis ran out and jumped Tozawa after Gargano came out and verbally abused CIMA for failing to win. After Davis jumped Tozawa Gargano immediately put him in the Gargano-No Escape submission as the match was started immediately for some reason (no reason given) and a referee ran out. Eventually the referee stopped it after Tozawa passed out. The fans were PISSED and started chanting “bullshit” at the booking.
– Barrett pinned AR Fox in a non-title match via a handful of tights in a rather short match. Barreta said he deserves an EVOLVE Title shot now so Fox ran to the back and grabbed his belt, accepting the challenge.
– Fox countered Barreta’s rana into a pin in the 2nd match, but Barreta said they’re tied 1-1 now so they need to have a rubber match to see who the true EVOLVE Champion is which Fox again accepted.
– Fox and Barreta went on for a longer time in the 3rd Match and Fox got the win with the Lo Mein Pain. It probably would have come off alot better at it just been simply made a 2/3 Falls Match.
– The Tag Title Match was said to have been really good and after the match Ricochet said that after two failed attempts at getting back the tag titles it’s time for him to concentrate on singles. He reminded us all that via the Gate To Heaven win he gets any shot at any title or match at a future show. Johnny Gargano came out and said that was the future, not tonight and he had only signed a contract to face the winner of the 4-Way that night. Akira Tozawa then came out and said that was right and he was recovered now so he should get his shot. A referee ran out and for some reason Tozawa got a rematch.
– Tozawa again passed out to the Garga-NO Escape but this time in a long, good match. Tozawa apologized to the fans for failing. No explanation is given why Tozawa can come out and just get his rematch right there (nor why the initial match happened right after the 4-Way and after Tozawa was laid out) or why Fox and Barreta were able to have 3 matches simply because they wanted to. Horrendous booking for a company that’s led by a guy known for good booking.
