Highlights from “Ring of Honor On the Road” (w/Kevin Kelly), courtesy of The Mayhem’s official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:

Why he believes that Ring of Honor has become “the last bastion of great in-ring wrestling”: “I think certainly when you look at the importance of the World Heavyweight Championship and that over the years, Ring of Honor as become the last bastion of great in-ring wrestling. If it were not for Ring of Honor, I’m not sure there would be too many other options for fans out there. For the masses, Ring of Honor is really that wrestling alternative.”

Whether or not Homicide is going into his ROH World Title Match this Saturday night against Roderick Strong as the underdog: “You could look at Homicide in two different ways: Homicide is a 16-year veteran, who in his mind is underrated & underappreciated. He’s also a former ROH World Champion, who when he lost the title was never given a rematch. Homicide, in his own mind, is the underdog in every situation that he goes in. I don’t think there’s a match where he’s a bigger underdog than this one against Roderick Strong. He knows he taking on Roddy at his absolute peak, the best Roderick Strong has been since becoming champion.”

The evolution of ROH’s relationship with GoFightLive.tv in airing the promotion’s Internet Pay-Per-Views: “The biggest thing is the continued work Ring of Honor has done with the folks from GoFightLive.tv in improving their production, weeding out the bugs, and trying to improve the overall broadcast.”

More is contained in Kevin’s return to The Mayhem, including his candid thoughts & comments on thoughts on this Friday night’s “World’s Greatest” event in Dayton, whether fans are starting to embrace Roderick Strong as the Ring of Honor World Champion, the continued build-up of ROH’s tag team division, the actual chances of Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team ending the reign of The Kings of Wrestling as the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, plus so much more!
