Diamond Dallas Page Warns Ricky Morton about Kevin Nash
‘AWE Wrestling: Night Of The Legends’ PPV
Saturday night in Virginia

FISHERSVILLE, Virginia (October 10, 2011) – Amidst great speculation regarding his role in Saturday night’s “AWE Wrestling: Night Of The Legends” Pay-Per-View extravaganza, live from Augusta Expo in Fishersville, Virginia, three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page (“DDP”) has issued a major warning to Ricky Morton.

Former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion Kevin Nash, along with his mystery tag-team partner, takes on the former three-time NWA Tag Team Champions, The Rock-n-Roll Express, Morton and Robert Gibson, in the featured match of the evening. Nash and Morton have been feuding for the past decade, and their many differences promise to be settled once and for all this Saturday night in front of a live national television/Internet audience and a packed live house in Virginia.

DDP, who is in great shape due to workout videos he has been making, said he is looking forward to this weekend’s ring return. “I’ve been doing some Herculean workouts in my videos, so I’m in the best shape I’ve been in years,” the popular wrestler explained. “It’s great to be part of this pay-per-view show that gives young people a chance to watch so many legends and gives old-time fans an opportunity to see their favorite wrestlers in action again. You never know if all of these legends will ever wrestle on the same show again. We don’t know what’s going to happen, but it’s going to be a great night. It could be a really sweet night, too.”

DDP noted that he has been together with Nash longer than anybody, including Scott Hall, and he warns Morton about what could happen to him in the ring against an angry Nash. “We go back together before the WWF and The Outlaws,” DDP said about his friendship with Kevin. “Ricky Morton has said a lot of nasty stuff about Kevin in interviews. I know Kevin really well and you just don’t do that to him without paying some serious consequences. Kevin is going to keep it real in the ring. Of all the people for Morton to do that to, and then get in the ring with, well, let’s just say Nash isn’t that guy. Stuff happens in wrestling and sometimes real bad stuff happens. We’ll see what’s going to happen Saturday night but, trust me – it’s not going to be good for Morton.”

The Awesome Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) superstar event will be available for live viewing at 9 PM/ET – 6 PM/PT on both cable and satellite pay-per-view via iN Demand, DIRECTV, AT & T and Verizon in the United States, as well as Bell TV in Canada, for a suggested retail price of only $24.95. The broadcast will also be available live on an Internet pay-per-view basis at www.AWEonPPV.com and www.GFL.TV.

Legendary warrior Terry Funk faces his protégé, former ECW superstar Tommy Dreamer, to determine who the true King of Hardcore wrestling is in 2011. A two-time ECW and NWA heavyweight champion, Funk is a Hall of Famer in several organizations who has mentored Dreamer for many years. Despite looking up to Funk as an extreme combat fighting icon, 14-time WWF/WWE Hardcore Champion and two-time ECW world title-holderDreamer, is on a mission to retire the ageless Funk.

American flag-waving, 2 X 4 wielding “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan continues his patriotic charge when he confronts the hated Arab-American oil magnate, Mohammad Akbar.

Other wrestlers among the 30 all-stars being showcased at the AWE Legends event include Fit Finlay, Amy “Lita” Dumas, and Perry Saturn, who will be making the most significant comeback in wrestling history, nine-years out of the ring, against dangerous enforcer CW Anderson.

In a match that could very well steal the show, WWE and WCW title-holder Fit Finlay throws-down with 21-year-old rising-star and the AWE Heavyweight prospect, “Loose Cannon” Alex Silva, who’ll have “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel working his corner.

Also on this action-packed Awesome Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) card are former World Tag Team Champion and “Four Horsemen” member, Tully Blanchard with Babydoll, Midnight Express, Ivan Koloff, Tommy “Wildfire” Rich, and Sonjay Dutt squares-off against Jamin Olivencia on the action-packed
All wrestlers and matches are subject to change.
