– It is official that Adam Cole will face Brutal Bob at “Boiling Point 2012” in a Proving Ground match which is sure to be intriguing. Also signed is a special 4 Corner Survival pitting 4 young Northeast wrestlers who have impressed ROH officials recently. It will be Matt Taven vs. QT Marshall vs. Antonio Thomas vs. Vinny Marseglia. A win for one of these men will definitely earn them future ROH opportunities.
– Recently on ROH TV and in Pittsburgh at “Live Strong”, we saw Tommaso Ciampa attack his former manager Prince Nana. Ciampa is under the impression that Nana is responsible for keeping him away from the TV Title through a deal made with the House of Truth. Barrister R.D. Evans is rumored to be the one who originally brokered the deal with Truth Martini but Evans has remained on good terms with Ciampa and has procured Ciampa’s contract. The Barrister plans to represent Tommaso going forward but details are sketchy as to what the future of The Embassy Limited holds. Prince Nana is furious and has said that he will be in Providence THIS Saturday! It is completely unknown what role Prince Nana will play at “Boiling Point 2012”!
– The latest episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” is now available to Ringside Members here and it features the rubber match between “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett and Lance Storm! This is the first appearance of Lance Storm on national television in a long time and you don’t want to miss it! Also in action is Mark and Jay Briscoe as they battle the mysterious Guardians of Truth! There is also an emotional in ring interview with Eddie Kingston plus Inside ROH looks into the Embassy shakeup!
– This week on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV, you will see a main event 6-Man War with S.C.U.M (Kevin Steen, Jimmy Jacobs, and Steve Corino) battling Jay Lethal and the All Night Express! Also, the Bravado Brothers return to ROH TV against Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin with Truth Martini. In addition, Kyle O’Reilly faces Matt Taven and “The Man Beast” Rhino will be in action!
– Ring of Honor Wrestling finally returns to New Jersey on Saturday night October 6th and everyone is pumped! Tickets for our NJ return are on sale here and ROH officials have stated that the ROH World Championship will be defended in Rahway!
– Shelton Benjamin was recently suspended after attacking various ROH officials and staff including Senior Official Todd Sinclair, as well as an assault on Rhett Titus with a chair. This unacceptable behavior continued in the locker room area when Shelton put his hands on a member of the production team. As a result of all of this, ROH officials quietly suspended Benjamin without pay but the news was just made public last week. Benjamin is expected to return to ROH action in Charlotte, NC on September 8th.
