Jason Static has defeated everybody that has stepped in the ring with him. On July 11th, the VPW Champion will not know who his opponent will be until shortly before his match. Earlier in the night, a triple threat match will be contested to determine the number one contender for Static’s title. The winner of that match will compete for the VPW Championship that same night. There is also a chance that the VPW Champion could have the night off. Keep reading for all the details.
Number One Contenders Triple Threat Match
?The Answer? Pete Simmons w/ ?Ultra Tough? Doug So Delicious vs. ?Ultra Sexy? Joe So Delicious vs. Mack Daddy Flexx
This match will have huge ramifications. For several months, both Mack Daddy Flexx and ?Ultra Sexy? Joe So Delicious have felt that they are the rightful number one contender to Jason Static’s VPW Championship. Back in May, both men decided that the way to truly see which of them deserved the title match, they would go at it one on one. Later that same night, ?The Answer? Pete Simmons took it upon himself to stir the pot and challenged Mack Daddy Flexx to a match. Flexx accepted Simmons? challenge. In an effort to appease all three men and resolve the important issue of whom the number one contender is, VPW officials have come up with an interesting stipulation for this triple threat match. If either Mack Daddy Flexx or Joe So Delicious wins the match, then they will face Jason Static later in the night. However, if Pete Simmons is victorious, neither man will get a title shot against Simmons? partner, and both Flexx and Joe will lose their number one contender’s claim. If that happens, Jason Static gets the night off and the VPW Champion gets to tack on another month to his lengthy run at the top. Don?t dare miss a night where anything can happen!!
VPW New York Championship
Sabotage w/ ?Ultra Tough? Doug So Delicious vs. VSK
The cornerstone of Best Bodies, Inc. has been impressing everyone as the VPW New York Champion. At the same time, Sabotage has also been ticking many people off, especially some of the VPW locker room. One person in particular that wants to put a damper on Sabotage’s parade is VSK. VSK has quickly become one of VPW’s most popular stars and rightfully so. On June 27th, VSK competed in a round robin series that also included ?Smooth Operator? Mike Gallagher and E.J. Risk. Following that victory, VSK made it clear that he wants a shot at the VPW New York Championship. Sabotage laughed at VSK’s challenge, but VPW officials have decided that the match will take place and that it will be taking place on Saturday night, July 11th. Will we see a new New York Champion??
VPW Tag Team Championship
Los Nuevos Conquistadores (Trueno Bestia & Fuerza de los Rayos) vs. Funky Fresh
Boyz (K-Funk & K-Fresh)
This match is a mystery to everyone. Last week, VPW officials received a phone call from a well-known Mexican wrestling promoter. He said that he was looking to get one of his new tag teams some international experience and said that if VPW wanted to have his team compete on their July 11th event, then he?d cover all costs. This was an offer that anybody would be foolish to turn down, so this mysterious team that has never competed in the United States before and that nobody in VPW has ever seen, will be going up against the VPW Tag Team Champions. When asked about facing unknown opponents, the Funky Fresh Boyz made it clear that they will face anybody that wants a shot at them because they are out to prove themselves as being the top tag team in VPW. The VPW Tag Team Championship belts could easily be on their way down to Mexico if the Funky Fresh Boyz aren?t able to defeat their virtually unknown opponents. Fans of VPW, make sure that you all come out to support not only your favorite tag team, but also your country!!
Other VPW News
The always unpredictable Zombie will be making his return to VPW after a year-long absence. Why the Zombie has chosen this time to return to the ring is not known, but nobody is safe!!
Due to a prematch stipulation agreed to by both teams, Eclipse are not able to seek a rematch against the Funky Fresh Boyz for the foreseeable future after losing the VPW Tag Team Championship the last time VPW was in Centereach. Therefore both Jay Delta and Xandar Page have asked VPW officials to place them in singles matches at Carnage in Centereach IV. This will be one of the rare times that the 2 time VPW Tag Team Champions will not be competing as a team. Whether their tag team success translates to singles success remains to be seen.
Tough Tommy will be returning to VPW after being fired by his former tag team. Tommy was booed out of the VFW Hall the last time he was here due to his horrid behavior towards the loyal VPW fans. Rumor has it that Tough Tommy wants to make a special announcement and address the audience for a very specific reason.
After Joey Everlast and Mikey Old School seemingly removed Johnny ?Muscles? Marinara’s former manager and associates from VPW, they have both said that they are moving on to bigger and better things. As for Muscles, he’s looking at this as a fresh start. He told VPW officials that he wants to prove to everyone that he can do this on his own, with no partners and no manager. Muscles also made it clear that he will be more aggressive than in the past. When asked about Gina Bella, Muscles said that she?ll be the only one of the old crew sticking around.
Back in May, E.J. Risk ran his mouth and got in Dani DT’s face. Richie Tyler interjected, but Risk was the better man that night. The lesson to be learned there is that running your mouth in VPW can lead to problems. Risk better mind himself because the next person he rubs the wrong way may be even more threatening than Richie Tyler.
